I’m just a simple girl, slobbering over her keyboard, making a delicious list.

  1. Hot Chocolate
    1. Mmm, a classic and super easy. Just a little something to warm your soul. (for extra credit add a little peppermint schnapps).
  2. Hay Stacks
    1. They have chow mein noodles, peanut butter, peanuts, and butterscotch. I made some for “Friend Christmas” and sent them home with…Friend… and she ATE THEM all. I got to make another batch today. So it’s pretty safe to say they are DELICIOUS!
  3. Puppy Chow
    1. No one has ever been disappointed when given puppy chow. That stuff is a crowd pleaser!
  4. Popcorn Balls
    1. Listen I have never made them, but DESPRATLY want to, but every time I talk about doing it, I am talked down. Apparently they are frustrating to make.
  5. Peppermint bark
    1. But only if you make it with white chocolate.
  6. Peanut brittle
    1. To me, peanut brittle is like cauliflower, I always tell myself that I don’t like it, but can finish a whole tub of it by myself.
  7. Field Mice
    1. I don’t know what to call these, but you take maraschino cherries with stems, dip them in chocolate, and stick a kiss on the front with little halved peanuts on top for ears. They are pretty yummy and absolutely adorable.
  8. Gingerbread house
    1. I cannot believe that I almost left this off! I had to come back to edit the list to make sure it made it! what kind of Christmas is complete without A gingerbread house!?
  9. Pink Fluff
    1. I have mentioned this one on my vegetarian post too, it is just whipped cream, cherry pie filling, sweetened condensed milk and crushed pineapple. It is my 6 year olds reason to be good for the holidays.
  10. Trail Mix
    1. Honestly, I use this as a way to get rid of stuff in my cabinet.
  11. Cookies!
    1. Any kind will do.
  12. Cheese Ball
    1. After all the sweet things on the list, this one sticks out like a sore thumb, but still a staple for festive snacks!
