A list of MY favorite Christmas movies Movies that I actually watch and enjoy. Not movies that everyone says they watch but really just sleep through, or post about on Facebook. Judge me if you will, but I will forewarn you, The Christmas Story is not on here, because I hate that movie.

  1. The Princess Switch
    1. Yes it is bad, yes it is cheesy, but honestly that is what I am looking for in a Christmas movie.
  2. The Christmas Candle
  3. White Christmas
    1. this one makes the list because it is a classic. I really enjoy the movie, but honestly I am at a loss as to why it is specifically a CHRISTMAS staple. Very little of the movie has to do with Christmas
  4. A Christmas Carol
    1. The Flintstones rendition
  5. The Bishops Wife
    1. Because Carey Grant…
  6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
    1. The Animated one is my favorite.
  7. A Nightmare Before Christmas
    1. I honestly watched this for the first time last year, and enjoyed the heck out of it.
  8. The Shop Around the Corner
    1. I always forget that this movie exists, and stumble upon it and fall in love with it all over. I have to say though, I have yet to watch a Jimmy Stewart movie that I did not enjoy.
  9. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
    1. The stop motion movie, for some reason these movies give me the creeps, but I absolutely love them!
  10. The Thin Man
    1. This movie has it all, drama, romance witty back and forth. I bout my first laptop in 2011 and the first and only laptop that it has ever had on it was a picture of William Powell, Myrna Loy and Asta. Honestly we should be surprised that I haven’t had a dog named Asta yet… maybe we should Change Stella’s name, she acts an awful amount like him…
  11. A Year without Santa Claus
    1. A favorite of my brother and I growing up.
  12. The Spirit of Christmas
    1. My all-time favorite movie, believe it or not. It is about lawyer who has to sell a “haunted” house before the new year, and when she gets there she ends up meeting the ghost and falling in love with him.
